Our Owners

Joe and Cheri’s professional career consisted of a combined 56 years with Walmart Inc. in leadership roles, supporting multiple businesses and divisions. During Covid, they realized how much they enjoy working together and wanted to focus their time and energy giving back to the community. Joining the Zivel family allows them to live out their dreams by providing first-class services and helping their clients strive to live their best life possible!

Joe is originally from West Texas, just outside of Lubbock, and has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and MBA from Wayland Baptist University. Joe has primarily been in HR leadership roles, but has also managed and worked in the retail space his entire working career. As a college athlete in Track and Field, Joe has maintained a love and passion for fitness and supporting those who strive to perform and feel their best. His love for supporting emerging athletes carried over into coaching youth sports for 12 years.

Cheri grew up in Northern Illinois and has a Bachelor of Business from Western Illinois University. Her Walmart career started in Supply Chain operations and later transitioned to corporate Compensation where she earned her CCP and PHR. She has always enjoyed working hard andmaintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.

In their free time, Joe and Cheri enjoy walking and biking the beautiful Ozark trails, playing pickleball andgolf, landscaping, cooking healthy food together, listening to live music, vacationing at the beach, cheering on the Razorbacks (WPS!) and spending time with family. Over the past two decades, they have made Northwest Arkansas home, and have six adult children, all who live and have professional careers in the area.
